Despliegue de la segunda vía entre Palencia y León para reforzar la alta velocidad hacia Asturias
Los trabajos entre siguen avanzando con el montaje de la segunda vía, ya en un tercio del tramo de 41,5 kilómetros El Ministerio de Transportes y Movilidad Sostenible sigue con los trabajos para reforzar el corredor norte de alta velocidad, con el despliegue de la segunda vía en la línea entre Palencia y Leòn, nexo de uniòn de la alta velocidad a Asturias. Esta actuaciòn cuenta con una inversiòn de 95,2 millones de euros, ya movilizada casi en su totalidad, y que responde al aumento de tráfico derivado de la extensiòn de la red y la liberalizaciòn ferroviaria.
